Baseball diamond

One of the things you can do in Greenfield is to play a game of baseball at the Greenfield Park ballpark. The park is located at the corner of South Franklin Street and West Chester Road. It is open year-round, with a schedule of events and activities to suit all ages. A baseball diamond, soccer fields, an outdoor swimming pool, and picnic areas make up the main attractions.

The park features a large parking lot off of the outfield and restrooms. The park is also home to the state’s largest public basketball court, a modern swimming pool complex completed in 1997 and a modern golf course. Other attractions include a plethora of playgrounds and a water park.

Climbing wall

If you’re looking for a cool way to get the kiddos to cool off, you can’t go wrong at Cool Waters in Greenfield Park. With a splash pool aplenty and plenty of green to boot, you’ll be wowed every time you walk through the door. The new and improved facility is the envy of the rest of the county, and the kids will thank you for it. Golf course

One of the many golf courses to choose from in and around Milwaukee, the Greenfield Park Golf Course is not to be confused with the lesser mortals of the ilk. It’s no wonder its nickname is the tiger. The course has 18 holes of golf on the regular, and a few extra holes in the off-season. Of course, the course is a golfer’s delight. The best part is that the staff is friendly and the golf carts are complimentary. This is a great thing, especially if you’re on a budget.

Leashed pets allowed

Dogs are now permitted at Greenfield Park. Before this vote, dogs were not allowed in city parks. They were banned from the Independence Day celebration, Dan Jansen Family Festival, and other city events. The ban also limited the number of dogs that could be in the park.

Dogs can be leashed, but owners are still responsible for picking up after their pets. Unscooped dog poop will wash into the waterways, which can cause fish kills. And unscoped pet waste can attract disease-carrying insects.

You can bring your pet to Greenfield Park, but he or she is required to be on a six-foot leash at all times. He or she is also required to be under the voice control of the owner at all times.
